GEM Charter School is a State funded school therefore you do not pay a tuition fee. In order for your child to attend the Charter School they have to be enrolled into the Primary (Kindergarten age) or Elementary program during the open enrollment period each year.
We offer a free morning Primary (Kindergarten) program, the state pays for the half day. You can sign up for the Afternoon Kindergarten Program through the private school, the cost will be $130.00 per month. Please be sure to check the box for Afternoon KG on the Kindergarten enrollment form. There is a $75 deposit for the Afternoon KG which will be refunded at the end of the year. Tuition is due on the 18th of the month. For Before and After School Programs please refer to our Private School enrollment page.
In order for your child to be accepted at the GEM Charter School for the Primary (Kindergarten) year, he or she has to be 5 years old by December 31, this is a State Requirement and there are no exceptions.

Make sure you complete the entire form before submitting to the office. We will only accept completed enrollment forms if information is missing you will be contacted. Your child will not be placed on the waiting list until we received a completed enrollment form.

There is a School Supply and Activity Fee for every student. This will pay for snacks, cooking supplies and other consumable classroom supplies, some field trips, the Montessori Magazine “Tomorrow’s Child” and other extra curricular activities. It is $150 if paid entirely by the first month of school, $160 if paid in two $80 payments or $17.50 if paid monthly for 10 months, due on the 1st of the month.
